Dear soon-to-be Bride and Groom–
Did you know that the US postal service has made it very easy for you to super-personalize your “Save the Date” cards or your wedding announcements? That’s right. You can now create your own personalized postage stamps. It’s this easy: Go to www.photostamp.com. On that site you can upload a photo of yourselves, or if you are camera shy, a photo of your destination wedding spot, or the church or vineyard at which you plan to say your vows. The site offers you the ability to make some adjustments to your photo, too–zoom in or out, rotate, or add colored borders which will best highlight your photo. The stamps will be printed in the stamp denomination of your choice ranging from 28 cents for postcards to 44 cents for first class mail, to $4.95 for packages. Of course, there is an extra charge for the printing of the stamps themselves–but to my mind, the cost is not prohibitively expensive, and, what a great way to add a special touch to that special day.
